3rd March Some of our earlier Spring guests enjoying the fabulous weather and planning their afternoon countryside walk.

Our Story so far this year.....

5 little chicks hatched

4 healthy calves born (6 still awaited)

3 Indian runner ducks hatched

2 barn kittens born

1 paddock fenced

3rd to 5th May. Classic Car lovers visited St Mawes to take part in the 3 day Classic Car Rally. An event organised in aid of the South West's Precious Lives appeal. It proved such a success that organisers are already looking ahead to next year.

04/03/2010 Our first calf  for 2010 finall

y arrived today. "Lower Penhallow Juliet 1st"

04/04/2010 The crops are finally appearing after a long winter so we decided to spend this afternoon making scarecrows for our fields of barley. We finished the day with an Easter Egg Hunt around the farm. It took a little longer than planned and we called a halt just before dark. I think someone got a little carried away hiding chocolate eggs and bunnies!

Spring is finally here and the chickens are laying well.

13/04/2010 Preparing the for the bull. It's been all hands to the pump this week. We've had lots of help preparing one of our fields for the arrival of our first bull. New fencing and gates all around!

09/05/2010 Our 8th Calf arrived today, a little slow to find milk.
