Until 1996,
the barn was used for housing cattle and sheep but was transformed
in 1997 to make two holiday units. One is ideal for couples or
groups of up to four people, the other can accommodate up to six
people. Alternatively, extended families may take both units for
a special reunion of up to 10 people. And, out of the high season,
we are
happy to let the larger unit to smaller parties if the small unit
is already booked.
Both units
look out across the gravel farmyard to beautiful countryside to
the south. We are located out of earshot of main roads but you
may hear the occasional tractor, the postman or birdsong, and
at night there is often a view of the night sky seldom seen in
built-up areas. A ten-minute walk will bring you to the nearest
bus stop, and a variety of village pubs and shops are within a
couple of miles.
